Welcome to another great year with GNO ZTA Alumnae Chapter.  I am so honored to be the President of this wonderful group of ladies dedicated to seek the noblest. This year is off to an amazing start.  The GNO Chapter was awarded at Convention with the Silver for Alumnae Improvement.  I have never been so proud to be a GNO Zeta than at that moment.  I know all of the hard work, time and dedication that went into winning that award.  I want to say THANK YOU to all of the members that strived to make GNO the best it could be.  And a very special thank you to Helen Fish for leading the way. Everyone had a great time in May at the Past President’s Luncheon at Ralph’s On The Park, as well as the End of Year Officer Installation and Awards Dinner at Vincent’s.  Elizabeth Joint was recognized as Outstanding Alumnae and Nancy Hopkins as the Zeta Lady at the Awards Dinner.   Congratulations Ladies!

Experience…Crown Connections

Strengthening the Links of Sisterhood

Crown Connections are events that promote sisterhood in smaller group settings. With such a large membership, Crown Connections are a great way for our members to get to know each other beyond monthly events and help connect members with common interests.

Caring Crowns – The ladies of this group meet with Zetas that are homebound or going through a difficult time (sick, post-baby, etc) and give them a little Zeta Love.

Z-T-A Play – A playgroup for Zeta moms with small children that meets on a regular basis.

July e-News: Convention Edition

And the winner is….Greater New Orleans Alumnae

The GNO ZTA Alumnae Chapter won the awards of Crown Chapter and Silver Award for Alumnae Improvement at Convention 2010.  This marks the first time any Alumnae Chapter in Louisiana has own a Silver Award.  To make it even sweeter Convention was in our home town of New Orleans.  Congratulations to the entire GNO ZTA Alumnae      Chapter!

Silver Award

First time award for GNO ZTA Alumnae Chapter, Silver for Alumnae Improvement.    It was wonderful to have so many Zeta Sisters at the Silver Mardi Gras Ball to share this amazing experience.

Crown Chapter Award

GNO ZTA Alumnae was recognized by National Council for excellence in five areas:  Activities, Finances, Fraternity Operations, Membership and Programming.

Louisiana Mix and Mingle Reception with National Council and all Louisiana Zetas at Convention.  Everyone had a great time visiting and getting their palms and tarot cards read.  It was great meeting Zetas from all over Louisiana.
